We welcome your child and you to our Day Care Center!
 

We are pleased to offer Licensed child care for ages 2.5- school age.

Our staff are certified Early Childhood Educators and assistant who are required to have a current First Aid certificate, a criminal record check, and a physician’s declaration of suitability. Staff members are required to participate in ongoing professional development by taking workshops and courses to upgrade and add new skills. In addition we have background, training and certificate in recreation, health and Fitness, First Aid teacher, Dance, and Kids Yoga teacher .  Therefore, we can say with confidence that each child enrolled at Kids in Honey Bees Studio Day Care the highest quality of care.

• Physically: to increase their large and small muscles and feel confident about what their bodies can do 

How do children develop?

To encourage children’s best development, we need to understand the various ways they grow. 

• Children's physical development includes learning large muscle skills like jumping and running, and small muscle skills like cutting and pasting. 
• Intellectual development involves children's increasing ability to think and solve problems. 
• Emotional development is about learning to experience, identify, express and control feelings. 
• Social development means learning how to relate to others. 

We believe during the dynamic years from age one to five, children develop a sense of themselves in relation to family and community; they are exploring the world through play and seemingly endless questions which require caregivers’ validating responses; and they are ready to learn a healthy lifestyle from the powerful adult role models with whom they identify strongly. The quality of nurturing and stimulation that a child receives in the first few years of life can have effects on development that last a lifetime. We provide a place, care, and programs to support each child's growth and development.

Our Daily Schedule

Consistency and routine is important for children. Accordingly, we have scheduled times for teacher-lead activities such as circle time, arts and crafts projects, group teacher facilitator projects, Dance, Kids Yoga and Mindfulness activities, Exercise, Music,  snacks, lunch and naps. We also have free play time indoor and outdoor to allow children to interact, engage in social, toys, and games, books, our dramatic play areas. Regardless of what activities they choose, our staff will be there to supervise, encourage and provide assistance as needed.

We love to capture your child's time, accomplishments, memories, fun time, art work, their expressions and excitement with parents to keep. Therefore we give away certificates of achievements, and portfolios of child progress and observations.  

Our Self Improvement School is  available during the weekend hours for family trainings and workshops including professional speakers, and First Aid trainings.
